  • The realization of a low-power electronic-photonic switch circuit, based on silicon photonics, to enable future large-scale integration of optically switched memory;
  • The development of an integrated circuit platform that can combine electronics, spintronics and photonics on a single chip;
  • Show the feasibility of spintronic-photonic memory with terahertz switching speeds and sub-picojoule-per-bit switching energies;
  • Setting up a network and laying out a roadmap to bring together all the stakeholders with these diverse backgrounds and create momentum for this novel technology platform.
